Thanks be to God for this wonderful day! Happy St James’ Day, everyone. A slight sprinkling of rain but we carried on worshipping nonetheless! We were privileged to be led in our service by Bishop Andrew, Bishop of Ramsbury, and Rev’d Tim, and joined by Rev’d Claire Maxim, the previous incumbent who instigated the window project, as well as the artist, Sophie Hacker sophieartstory. It was a great celebration of our new stained glass window, now duly blessed by the Bishop. We enjoyed a hog roast and lots of delicious food, and thanks also go to those who played and sang at the open mic. The clouds and rain sprinkling couldn’t dampen our joy at God’s faithfulness to us! Thanks to everyone who contributed and came to our service. It was great to see you and enjoy your company as we marked this important day.
