Thinking ahead, if you have any loitering palm crosses, left from last year, at home, please consider donating them back to church on/by Sunday 27th February, so Rev’d Tim can use them to make ash ready for Ash Wednesday on 2nd March. Thank you. This is the traditional means of making the ash, and has something beautifully cyclic about it – the symbol of the beginning of Jesus’ Passion through Holy Week returns to prepare us for Lent the following year.
