We hope you can join us at our Holy Week and Easter services. All welcome!
Our Easter card artwork was produced by Sue Williams. Thank you, Sue.
Revd Tim Laundon’s ministry here will formally start at his Installation Service, held at St James at 7pm on Tuesday 22nd January 2019. We can’t wait to welcome him! We are very excited! Come and join us if you can.
Join us during the Advent and Christmas for services and events of all sorts : there are carols aplenty – traditional, with bells, with curry, and even down the pubs! Loud and jolly, or quiet and contemplative, you are warmly invited to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, at St James.
Remembrance Sunday is always a very special day for our community here in Ludgershall and Faberstown, and this year was extra special, with the families of the Fallen from the Great War from this place helping us to dedicate and open the new Centenary Garden, following our service and Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial. Wonderful pictures of a moving day. Lest we forget.
It is with great excitement that we can announce that we are looking forward to welcoming Revd Tim Laundon as our new Priest In Charge of the Benefice of Ludgershall and Tidworth in the New Year.
Tim and his wife Amy are currently based in Windsor and preparing for their move to Wiltshire. Please continue to pray for them as they make these preparations and Tim finishes his responsibilities there.
And also continue to pray for the PCC, Church Wardens and supporting clergy here, as we continue to serve Ludgershall and Faberstown during the remainder of the vacancy until mid January 2019, when it is anticipated that Tim will be installed here by the Bishop. We praise God for His faithfulness and goodness to us and His provision for us during this time.
Our interactive Bible storytelling session with activities, craft and a snack, will be on again during the October break: Thursday 25th October and Thursday 1st November 9:30-11am. Designed for 0-5 year olds with parents and carers, older siblings are also welcome to join in, and we always have a lot of fun, children and adults alike. Hope you can come!
