On Saturday 16th May, a Confirmation Service for adults, young people, and older candidates was held at Salisbury Cathedral.
Confirmation is an exciting step on the journey of faith, and once confirmed, candidates are able to receive the bread and wine of Holy Communion. During the service, they take personal responsibility for their faith and become full members of the Church community, publicly affirming the beliefs first spoken on their behalf at baptism.
The candidates, together with their sponsors and families, enjoyed a wonderful evening. The service was conducted by Bishop Karen and Bishop Robert in the beautiful setting of Salisbury Cathedral.
We congratulate all those who were confirmed and pray for them as they continue their journey of faith.
