Foodbank

If you need a food parcel please phone our Rector, Rev Tim, on 07894 209833 or contact the Castle Practice (even if you are not registered with them) on 01264 790356. The food parcels are stored in the surgery, but before you can collect one you will need to get a Foodbank voucher either from Rev Tim or from one of the Social Prescribers who work at the Castle Practice.

The Andover Foodbank (our local Foodbank) can also supply some of the essentials for setting up a new home (pots and pans, etc.) and can provide packs of cleaning materials if needed. These can either be collected from the Andover Foodbank or delivery can be arranged to your home if you don’t have your own means of transport. See www.andoverfoodbank.org.uk or contact Rev Tim or phone the Castle Practice for further details.

If you are in any kind of need you may also be able to get a small grant from Ronald & Ruby Sandy’s Gift. Contact Janet on 01264 790213 for further details or to make an application (or you can contact Rev Tim on 07894 209833). We also hold a Community Fund for covering other urgent needs which cannot be met by the Foodbank and other local provisions, donated by local people for the needs of local people, also administered by Rev Tim.

If you are struggling with your finances the Social Prescribers who work at the Castle Practice may be able to help. The Andover Foodbank also offers help with budgeting and cookery skills. See www.andoverfoodbank.org.uk for further details.

If you would like to make a donation to our local Foodbank please drop off you gifts in church or at the Rectory (10 St James Street). Thank you. Financial donations to the Community Fund can be made on our Donations page. Thank you.
