Services

Sunday

We hold a Holy Communion Service on the first and third Sundays of the month at 10am. The Sunday Communion Service is in modern language, and includes hymns, and a sermon (or occasionally a different activity).  We share bread and wine, to commemorate the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples before, and if you normally receive Communion in your own church you are welcome to do so here. If you do not normally receive bread and wine you are welcome to come up for a blessing at the appropriate time.

We always have alcohol free wine and gluten free wafers available, and if you could let the person who greets you know that you need either or both, we will ensure there is plenty.

On the second and fourth Sunday we have a Service of the Word, which is a slightly shorter service without Communion.

Finally on the last Sunday of the month we have an All Age Service called Worship, Word & Song.

We have a lively community of children who remind us that church is for everyone, and we offer Children’s Church on the first 4 Sundays of the month. We are well aware that not everyone can stand, sit or kneel for the times that might be “expected”. We would rather you are comfortable than you conform.

Worship Word & Song

This service happens at 10am on the last Sunday of every month.  It is informal, and usually contains some kind of activity rather than a sermon. Children’s Church is not offered because we are all worshipping together. This service brings us all together as the whole Body of Christ, of all ages.

Evening Service

Our Evening Service is usually at 6pm (4pm during the winter months) however, it is temporarily suspended due to the pandemic, and we are currently considering our new pattern of services.

Thursday Holy Communion

Each week there is a shorter Holy Communion service without music on Thursdays at 10.30am.
