What’s The Story returns this coming Tuesday 31st May, starting at 9.30am in the church, for toddlers, preschoolers and primary school aged children, with their parents/carers. The session is free, and consists of interactive Bible Storytelling, activities, games and craft, and we provide a snack and a drink. Looking forward to another story!
What’s The Story returns on Friday 29th October, for 0-5 year olds, and primary aged children, with their parents or carers. Interactive Bible Storytelling, activities and craft, starting in the church at 9:30am where there is plenty of space to roam around. This is a free session, and usually lasts about an hour. We look forward to welcoming regulars and new folk alike!
Two lovely things happening on Friday morning:
- What’s The Story, Bible storytelling and activities for 0-5s and primary aged children continues in the churchyard at 9:30am – bring a picnic blanket and be ready for action!
- The Community Cafe is open in the Church Hall 9:30am-11:30am, serving tea and coffee, cake and biscuits. All welcome.
And of course, the church is open for private prayer, as usual, if you want to pop in.
What’s The Story is our Bible Storytelling and activity session for toddlers, preschoolers and primary school children, along with their parents or carers. We will be running this session on FRIDAYS during the summer holidays, commencing on Friday 30th July, 9:30 – 10:30am in the churchyard at St James. If the weather is inclement we may use the church building as we have in the past, but the plan this summer is to focus on picnicking with Jesus, stories of when he ate food with his friends, so we will be outside on our picnic blankets!
😍A note to our regulars: the change of day for these sessions is in response to other childrens groups starting up in Ludgershall on Thursdays, so we want to continue to offer something on a different day, and we hope you will still be able to come! 😍
What’s The Story returns this Friday, 4th June at 9:30am in the churchyard. This is a Bible storytelling and activity session for preschool and primary school aged children with their parents/carers, which lasts about an hour. Please bring a picnic blanket so you can create a base for your household! We will provide a drink and snack during the session. Happy Halfterm!
Advance notice! We are planning to run our What’s The Story sessions during the Easter holidays, on the Thursday 8th and Thursday 15th April, for toddlers and preschool aged children, plus primary school aged siblings and their parents/carers. We will meet at our usual time of 9:30am, but outdoors! We will be using the space in our churchyard for our Bible storytelling, games and activities, and hoping for very fine weather! A warm welcome awaits our What’s The Story regulars as well as new faces!
