St James’ Day Sunday 25th July 2021

On Sunday 25th July, our morning service at 10am will be led by Bishop Andrew, Bishop of Ramsbury and our own Rev’d Tim, and will not only celebrate St James’ Day but will also include the blessing of ‘The Revealing Glory and Renewing Hope’ stained glass window. After the service there will be refreshments and a time of fellowship together, to enjoy food and good company, all set in our beautiful churchyard. We hope you can join us in celebrating St James’ Day in this special way.

We will also have an open mic during the refreshments, when members of our wider community will share a song or two, singing or playing a musical instrument. If you have a song you would like to share as part of our festivities, please do bring it along. We have a mic and a speaker capable of taking a pickup, if you wish to use them. 😊🎶

Sunday 30th May Trinity Sunday

This Sunday there will not be an in person service at St James, because we are all going to celebrate Trinity Sunday with our sister church at Holy Trinity Church Tidworth, in their churchyard instead! Trinity Sunday is their patronage festival day. Please note that Holy Trinity hold their service at 11am, so please join us there then, with folding chairs and brollies at the ready.
The radio service will be broadcast by our friends at Castledown FM at 10am as usual.
Please consider making an offering to the continuing ministry of our church, as this is how we pay our clergy and cover running costs. You can do that online here: https://stjamesludgershall.com/donations/ Thank you.

Midweek Communion, Morning & Evening Prayer

We are really pleased to let you know that more of our midweek services are now back in person at the church: Thursday Morning Holy Communion at 10:30am, and Monday – Friday, Morning Prayer at 8:30am and Evening Prayer at 4pm. When the weather is fine, Evening Prayer will be outdoors. All are welcome at these opportunities for worship and prayer and a little stillness in the busyness of life.
