Harvest Thanksgiving Service

This Sunday 25th September, our All Age Service of Harvest Thanksgiving at 10am is led by the Childrenโ€™s Church. All welcome – expect joy and thankfulness with a little touch of glorious chaos as we all come together in worship to celebrate Godโ€™s goodness.

Ps we will be collecting harvest offerings for donation to the food bank and these can be left in advance in front of the nave alter or brought on Sunday to the service. Thank you!

Harvest offering for the food bank

๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿฅซ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿ†Harvest festival is nearly here! As usual we welcome harvest offerings of food which will be gathered in church and then taken to the food bank after the weekend. At harvest, the food bank welcomes all produce, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as the usual longer life items, so we will be delighted to receive a wide range of beautiful offerings. If you want to bring something to offer, you can place it in front of the nave alter anytime from now until Monday. The church is open every day, but with the added bonus of the flower festival displays on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Or bring your offering along to the service on Sunday at 10am. Thank you! ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿง…๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿง…๐Ÿฅซ๐Ÿฅ–

Foodbank Festive Plea

Hi everyone. We have received the plea below from our friends at Andover Foodbank. If you wish to help with a donation for their festive hampers, please leave your donations in front of the Nave Alter in the church by the end of Sunday, so we can take them to the Foodbank on your behalf on Monday. Our church is open during the day for private prayer, and so items can be dropped off, even though we donโ€™t have any services at the moment. Thank you!

Dear All,
Thank you all so much for your continuing support. With Christmas rapidly approaching, we have been busy sorting out gift boxes and delivering to agencies. So far over 1000 requests have been received and we are very grateful for all your donations.

This year the need for our festive hampers is greater than ever. Our 12 days to Christmas scheme is already up and running (our apologies in not getting this out to you but we had a busy couple of weeks and some things just slipped) but the information for this is on our website http://www.andoverfoodbank.org.uk if you wanted to catch up.

We are collecting the following items for hampers, if you would like to donate any of these. They can be dropped at the foodbank or in the supermarket collection points. If you cannot get out to shop you can always make a donation online via our website, and just leave a message saying that it is for hampers. The deadline for Christmas food is 30th November. Thank you.
