Harvest Thanksgiving Service

This Sunday 25th September, our All Age Service of Harvest Thanksgiving at 10am is led by the Children’s Church. All welcome – expect joy and thankfulness with a little touch of glorious chaos as we all come together in worship to celebrate God’s goodness.

Ps we will be collecting harvest offerings for donation to the food bank and these can be left in advance in front of the nave alter or brought on Sunday to the service. Thank you!

Harvest offering for the food bank

🌽🥦🥫🍎🍐🫑🍆Harvest festival is nearly here! As usual we welcome harvest offerings of food which will be gathered in church and then taken to the food bank after the weekend. At harvest, the food bank welcomes all produce, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as the usual longer life items, so we will be delighted to receive a wide range of beautiful offerings. If you want to bring something to offer, you can place it in front of the nave alter anytime from now until Monday. The church is open every day, but with the added bonus of the flower festival displays on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Or bring your offering along to the service on Sunday at 10am. Thank you! 🍎🍐🍊🍇🍅🍑🍆🫑🧅🌽🥦🧅🥫🥖

So why not visit the Church Hall after you have had a good look at the flowers and exhibits in the Church? See you there!

Harvest 2019

Join in our celebration of the harvest! We have an autumnal walk, leaving the church gate at 1:30pm Saturday 28th. If you would like to help decorate the church with our harvest produce, that will be after 3pm on Saturday. We have the Harvest Supper on Saturday evening – please contact Mike or Babs Dunning on 01264 398602 for tickets to that. And on Sunday we will celebrate at our service of Word Worship and Song at 10am, when harvest offerings are also most welcome. We will be donating our harvest offerings to those in need and to the Trussell Trust Food Bank in Andover. Hope to see you next weekend! 33DA83E1-460B-49F8-BC54-A2D8657DA6BF
