The Ludgershall Barons are plotting!

Come along and join the Magna Carta Celebrations this weekend

Saturday 12th September 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday 13th September 11 am – 4 pm

Make your own scroll and seal it with wax, write with a quill, colour a baron and make a shield of your own.

Learn about Ludgershall’s connection with King John. He was a regular visitor to Ludgershall Castle, took one look at the kitchens and declared them so last century that he had new ones built!

There will be refreshments too – taste a Medieval biscuit and see what you think of it – should there be a History Week in the Great British Bake Off?

Note that if you are planning to drop off donations of men’s warm clothing, please do so between 10 am and 12 noon on Saturday – we have to get the donations to Salisbury on Saturday afternoon in order to co-ordinate properly.
