A Lent Course, Sundays at 5pm

Lent starts today! During Lent, we are holding a group 5-6.30pm at The Rectory every Sunday for 5 weeks starting this Sunday 26th Feb. The group will be doing a Lectio Course which is a five session video series with Pete Greig and special guests exploring the ancient practice of Lectio Divina: learning how to hear God by praying the Bible. Please come and join us – everyone welcome!

Lent Group from Thursday 4th March

A reminder that our Lent Group does not start tomorrow (when our quiz is running) but will start next Thursday evening 4th March, at 7:30pm. The title of the sessions is Music in Worship, and no prior knowledge is needed, just come ready to share thoughts and ideas as part of the discussion led by Rev’d Tim and Rev’d Jimmy. All welcome.

Lent Group – “Casablanca”

our Lent Group for 2015 is running on Fridays thought Lent in the Church Hall 7.30-9.00pm. It’s using the film “Casablanca” and a course book called “A Beautiful Friendship”.

You don’t need a copy of the book, and it’s not vital to have seen the film, although it will help. Do come along and join us, for as few or many Fridays as you can. image
