Afganistan – a call to prayer

Each day at 4pm we are holding a short time of prayer concerning the ongoing situation in Afganistan. All are welcome to join us, or to come at anytime as our church is open daily, perhaps light a candle at the votive candle stand, and pray. There are some words provided in the chapel to lead you into prayer, for anyone to use. As well as praying for the many facets of the situation, we are also responding to a prayer request from the Church in Afganistan to join them in praying for themselves and for their country.
Lord, have mercy.

Midweek Communion, Morning & Evening Prayer

We are really pleased to let you know that more of our midweek services are now back in person at the church: Thursday Morning Holy Communion at 10:30am, and Monday – Friday, Morning Prayer at 8:30am and Evening Prayer at 4pm. When the weather is fine, Evening Prayer will be outdoors. All are welcome at these opportunities for worship and prayer and a little stillness in the busyness of life.

Stations Of The Cross

As part of our marking of the events of Holy Week, we have prepared an outdoor contemplative Stations Of The Cross in our Churchyard. It is up now, and will remain available to visit during this week of Holy Week, and next week as we start to celebrate Easter itself. Each station is a simple painted wood shape, and below is a guide with prayers and readings to use and consider at each station and as you make your way between stations. We pray this will be a blessing to you as we journey with Jesus to the Cross and beyond.

Morning & Evening Prayer on Zoom

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays we meet on the Zoom link below for Morning and Evening Prayer. Morning Prayer is at 8:30am and Evening Prayer is at 4pm. No need for a prayer book because the words are on the screen. All welcome to join in as and when you would like or are able.
