We will be glad to help you mark the important stages of life with your family, friends, and before God. Please look at our individual pages for Baptisms (Christening – it’s the same thing), Weddings, and Funerals.
You will need a connection with the parish – here’s the ways that can happen:
- If you worship with us regularly, or have worshipped with us for at least six months, you have a connection with us.
- If you live here now, or have ever lived here for more than six months, you have a connection with us. (Here is a link to a site to check that your home is or was within the parish boundaries.)
- If you were baptised, married, or prepared for confirmation here, you have a connection with us.
- If your parents were married here, you have a connection with us.
- If during your lifetime, either of your parents has regularly worshipped with us, or lived within the parish for at least six months you have a connection with us.
- If your grandparents were married here, you have a connection with us.
Sadly, having someone from your family buried here does not form a legal qualifying connection.
Please note that under current policy for Baptisms only you have a qualifying connection if the person wishing to be baptised or one of their parents is a serving member of 26 Engineering Regiment, which has the Freedom of Ludgershall. This is not a sufficient qualifying connection for marriage.
