This Sunday 28th July, we will be saying farewell to our Rector, Rev Tim and his wife Dawn, as they embark on a new adventure in Portsmouth. Rev Tim will be becoming a Royal Navy Chaplain. We are sad to say goodbye after 6 years of ministry here, but send them off with every blessing, and we will be praying for them as they settle into their new life. Come to help us bless them, at our all-age Worship Word and Song Service at 10am!
Our St James Day 10am service with BBQ lunch are this coming Sunday! Do come along to join in. Bishop Stephen will lead our service, Childrens Church is on, and there will be music and an afternoon to spend together as we celebrate our church’s 728th birthday. Now just to pray for some sunshine…🌤️
Exciting times ahead! On Sunday 1st May we will be holding our Annual Parochial Church Meeting, which is a time to report back to our church family about what we have done in the last year, and to elect our church wardens and PCC members for the year ahead. In preparation, we have collated a set of reports from various areas of church life for you to read ahead of the meeting. Please click the link to read the reports as a pdf.
The APCM will bookend the Sunday Service, with the election of churchwardens directly before worship commences and then the remainder of the meeting will happen following coffee in the Hall after our service. It is wonderful when we have as many members of our church community together for this meeting, so please come if you can.
