New Bible Study for 2024

Starting Monday 15th January, we have a new fortnightly Bible Study, hosted at the Rectory by Dawn and Rev Tim, starting at 7pm. Whether you have done Bible Studies before or this is all new, join us as we read, discuss and share ideas together. We will be doing a series taking us through Mark’s Gospel, which is an amazing place to start. Feel free to message us, or just turn up! The more the merrier…

This new Bible Study is one of 4 groups we host around the parish on various days and at various times, so if you would like to join one, but this one doesn’t work for you, message us and we can point you in the right direction!

Ride & Stride Walk Saturday 23rd September 10am

🥾🥾🥾Join us for our (slightly postponed) Ride&Stride walk to St Nicholas Church in Fyfield!
Depart Lych gate at St James at 10:00 on Saturday 23rd September.
Anticipated duration 2hrs.
It is a challenging route and recommend strong foot wear, long trousers, no dogs (live stock and non dog friendly stiles) and a good sense of balance!
There will be refreshments and toilets at St Nicholas Church. Lifts back to Ludgershall will be arranged.🥾🥾🥾

Saturday 23rd September

We have a very busy Saturday coming up on Saturday 23rd, so here is a summary:
🥓Men’s Breakfast 8:45-10am in the church hall
🥾Postponed Ride & Stride Walk sets off from the lychgate at 10am
🌽Harvest decorating of the church, 10-12noon ish
🥧Harvest Supper in the church hall at 7pm, tickets available, no charge, donation on the night.

Harvest Service Sunday 24th September 10am

🍏🍎🍐🍊🫛🥦🌽🍅🍒🫐🍓Looking ahead to next Sunday, 24th September, we will be celebrating Harvest at our all age service at 10am! Please bring along fresh produce as well as dried and canned goods (with a long best before date, please) to offer during our service of thanksgiving, or alternatively drop off your donation in the church over the weekend before the service. The church is open every day during the day. All donations will go to Andover foodbank after the service. 🧅🫑🥕🥑🌶️🫒🍍🥥🍫🍬🍭🥚🥖

Ride & Stride Walk Postponed

With the route planned on Saturday having limited shade, and the forecast temperatures and advice from the Ride & Stride organisers we have decided to postpone the Ride and Stride walk taking place on Saturday.
Instead we will hold the walk on Saturday 23rd September at the normal 10:00 start time. Thanks everyone!
